The Canadian Adventure Racing Association (CARA) is excited to announce the release of their latest promotional video, showcasing the excitement and challenge of adventure racing in Canada. It’s a great time to Find Your Adventure in Canada!
Adventure racing (AR) offers Canadians from coast to coast a chance to discover what they can do together. They want Canadians to see the fun they’ll have taking on unique hiking, biking, paddling and navigation challenges. Races happen from BC to the Maritimes, lasting from 3 hours to 5 days or more.
To create this video, CARA brought race organisations together to celebrate and promote the sport, using video content from Canadian races to give viewers a taste of what Adventure Racing is all about. It’s a great time for the sport, with the recent release of Arthur the King, a major motion picture starring Mark Wahlberg prominently featuring adventure racing. Participation continues to grow, with more races and racers across Canada, North America and around the globe.
The biggest excitement is yet to come: Expedition Canada will be host of the 2025 Adventure Racing World Series World Championship, presenting an epic multi-day expedition race. It will be a great opportunity to showcase Canada and the sport when CARA invites the world to BC in Sept. 2025.
