26 April 2023: Meeting with World Obstacle regarding survey results
The AR Countries Working Group met with World Obstacle President Ian Adamson to present the survey results. They informed Mr Adamson that the Adventure Racing community has rejected World Obstacle’s interest and had voted to create their own independent international association. 18 February 2023: Minutes from the meeting called by FISO/World Obstacle
At this meeting, World Obstacle President Ian Adamson aimed to establish a Technical Committee for Adventure Racing. The meeting participants rejected this initiative in favour of a poll of the Adventure Racing countries to ask them what they want. This lead to the formation of the AR Countries Working Group.
