Last year, the sport of Adventure Racing established its own international body to bring all Adventure Racing countries together and help develop the sport all over the world. 2024 is set to be a great year for the sport.
The much anticipated movie, Arthur the King is set for release on 15 March 2024. The movie tells the story of Swedish Adventure Racer Mikael Lindnord and his team – and a stray dog – at the 2014 AR World Championship.
A presentation at the first International Adventure Racing Conference on the steps followed by the AR Countries Working Group to establish IARA.
It started earlier this year as an international poll that pulled together adventure racing participants, communities, clubs, race directors and national organisations, and has culminated in the establishment of an International Adventure Racing Association (IARA).
